Pozdrawiamy serdecznie Malgorzata, Piotr i Olga 😊

Beautiful resort, a work still in progress, but worth it for the great weather and long connections!!!
Totally beautiful resort, small, quiet, relaxing and everything you imagine a Robinson Crusoe Island to be like.
Visited 10-24th Jan 2022 and apart from 3 days of cloud and Huge storm/lightning etc!! was perfect winter sun holiday.
Beach villa was ocean view and sea literally meters away, beautiful white sand and palm trees.
Modern and spacious, the bathroom was enormous with outside and indoor shower, bath tub, duo basins and spotless. Possibly one of the best beach villas I have been too from a few in the Maldives!!!
Kerin (young man who was house keeping fantastic!)
Food lovely, considering small resort, mixed Asian and European.
The whole resort was wood based and trying to be as eco as possible, shame about plastic water bottles, but guess glass needs a sterilisation system not in place yet.
Still up and coming, but fantastic for a beach holiday as a southern atoll. Check time of year for the sea weed. But credit for raking up every day.
My only criticism, and as a AOW PADI scuba diver, the dive centre had changed hands literally Jan 1st, so hardly any rental kit and set up was really basic. If you give it time, I'm sure that they will even have given the centre a name!
Leased off the Rahaa Resort,so a different issue from the resort review.
Having dived at Barr and Ari atolls, it's a completely different coral system. The house reef is away by speed boat and the main dive sites are 30 minutes boat away. All hard coral, good condition but not the abundance of 'pretty fish' you might expect if been to a more northern resort. Mainly pinnacle and rock formations. Rays, sharks if lucky, pick your time of year for what type of diving you're into.
Wouldn't recommend for the diving, also so tide/weather conditions dictated as previously mentioned no inner snorkel house reef. All boat trip.
BUT,
for a gorgeous hot break from UK in January after such a rubbish 2 years due to covid, I would highly recommend Rahaa Resort for the beach holiday angle rather than the scuba diving.( Purely just better atolls further north for diverse diving)
Zafri at the dive centre was superb and dealt with the starting up of the centre brilliantly. Excellent instructor who was having to hold everything together.
Rahaa Resort, being separate from the dive centre, was lovely, divine location away from everything, really remote and perfect for couples.
Would definitely visit again just for the beauty and weather. Excellent value for money,go All inclusive.
(Gave 4* , purely just as the dive centre/diving not geared up to what expectations were implied when booked in advance and didn't know about 'Seascape' leaving.)

Paradise Found
What a fabulous resort island upon which to relax and unwind. We arrived to a wonderfully warm and welcoming smile from Clovie who handed us a cold drink and ran through our island orientation with great detail.
The room was fantastic and spacious with a wonderful bathroom boasting inside and outside hot and cold showers. The room was well equipped and offered everything we needed and a shaded patio seating area was literally steps from the sandy beach.
Our room was looked after twice a day by the totally professional and dedicated Ashik who did not miss any small detail and was the greatest asset to the resort team. Nothing was too much trouble for him and every visit was accompanied by his massive smile.
Food was excellent too in terms of quality, variety and presentation and the whole restaurant team were friendly and professional with brilliant standards in place.
Our most attentive waiter was Ranjip who again was always on hand to help with a smile.
I truly cannot fault the resort and their best assets were the staff.

Much love to everyone at Rahaa for making our special trip so memorable.
Our stay at Rahaa was amazing!!!! The island was quiet with nature surrounding you everywhere. The snorkeling along the coral reef was just spectacular, we saw rays, turtles, an octopus and a wide variety of fish and live coral. The food at the buffet was also great with a wide variety of dishes that did not disappoint. The chef was friendly and checked in on us every day to see if we had any food preferences or to get our feedback. I cannot say enough about all the staff at the resort, everyone was so friendly and helpful. We participated in most of the organized activities like volleyball (guest vs staff), tug of war(guests vs staff), and the kayak race. It was such a great way to meet the staff and get to know them a little more. Our villa was on the ocean side and we absolutely loved it, it managed to give us the privacy we wanted while still having quick access to the beach and ocean. We spent Christmas day there and it was made special with a visit from SAAAAANNNNNTTTTAAAAAAAAAA!!!! 🙂
The only thing we missed was access to a pool. But we were speaking with the owner (super friendly guy who you will often see strolling around and interacting with guests) and he said a pool is in the plans.

Great stay, will be back , welcomes all
We were for my partners 30th birthday. We both had not been to the Maldives before mainly due to the LGBTQ+ laws in the Maldives, however Rahaa assured us they welcome to all. We had a great time, no photo can do the resort justest!
We arrived late at night, the speedboat was fun in the dark with the star in the sky it looked unreal, it takes about 30 mins on the boat.
On arrival we were welcomed with drinks, check in was simple and we were taken to our amazing room! Honestly the rooms are unreal, very spacious with a bathroom to die for.
The resort
No words can describe how nice it is, the sea, the beach is everything ! You are in paradise! This is 100% a get away from it all resort and if you want to relax this is the place to be!
Food
There is 3 meals a day , I always found something to eat as did my partner who is a picky eats. There is not loads to pick from but what is there is good quality.
I would say that if you like snacks like chocolate or crisps etc is to take them with you as there is no shop at resort that offers these!
Drinks
Soft drinks are great
Larger on take is Tiger
And loads of sprits
Wine was nice and sparking was amazing!
We were able to get drunk let’s say that haha
Activities
We used Pedalboards and kayaks , these are free and really good
Snorkelling gear was also free when all inclusive, the sea-life at the reef is unreal
You can do other activities we didn’t but there is loads to pick from.
The spa was nice and prices are really reasonable.
Evening’s
At the main bar there is always something on. Disco nights , white party night , Maldives night and movie on the beach night. We met some really nice couples and we danced the night away on the beach on the disco nights!
We would 100% be back as it was everything we wanted and more.

Xmas honeymoon getaway
This was our first visit/experience to the Maldives, and it was our honeymoon one we had been waiting for.
We decided that we wanted to holiday in the South Atoll, and with it being the furthest island, we have never felt so far away from all the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
We had booked connecting flights through our tour operator, and we had a transfer flight from Bahrain to Male, when we arrived in Male we were met by our travel rep and to our dismay we were told that the transfer flight from Male to Kanhadoo airport had already gone and that this would mean a 5 hour wait for the next connecting flight, not what we wanted after ten hours of travelling!
Between my husband and the hotel rep they managed to bring forward our flight to an hour. Once we had landed at Kanhadoo aiport we were directed to a waiting speedboat, all ran fine, and the boat ride was nice and refreshing.
Upon arrival to the resort, we were greeted by smiling staff and freshly prepared coconut cocktails and an apologetic reception manager for the delay we had at Male.
But i must mention that on our return journey home, we were escorted through check in by the hotel representative and he carried our cases and waited until we had checked in through the gates-he was most helpful to me!, Thank you.
We then had a quick check in and were shown to our beach villa facing room, we soon then went down for some dinner-when returning to our room we were greeted to a hand decorated made up bed that said “Happy Honeymoon”, which was a lovely surprise but felt that this could have been arranged before not the latter part, The rooms are big and spacious with a large outdoor air bathroom with showers and a bath, the rooms are topped up regularly with bottled water.
The next day we went to see what activities they had to offer, together we wanted to do the Scuba diving so we took a trip and met the diving instructor, to be told that he was leaving and that there was no confirmed arrangement in place to bring in someone new( we found this to be disappointing) but instead we made full use of the in house and daily snorkelling by boat and explored the house reefs and saw a good variety of teaming sea life. We were lucky enough to see Turtles and the larger fish ( we even spotted some reef sharks!!)
There is also a spa area on site, which over looks the salt lake which is a nice extra. We had a couples massage whilst we were there, which was a nice alternative for us.
Evening entertainment consisted of a daily DJ, but most evenings we were speaking to other guests and enjoying the sound of the waves. There were 2 nights that consisted of a Maldivian drumming night, which was nice to have some live music and see some of there culture.
I have to say the staff at this resort dazzle, and they will go over and beyond to make your stay pleaseable. They are always smiling and will always ensure you have enough to eat and drink. A special mention to Ashell,Alin and Samil for your efforts and positive attitude.
The all-inclusive buffet that is served, the food at the beginning we found to be recurrent and the same as the day before. However, half way through our stay some new dishes were introduced and there was more variety added to the menu. It's best to be open minded.
On our last night we booked to have a romantic 3 course dinner on the beach (which is chargeable),which was lovely and we had our own waiter who looked after us and we were not made to feel rushed to leave the beach-it was the perfect end to our Honeymoon and the staff made it special for us.
The island is a place of beauty, and this is what won me over it has been untouched and has not been over developed and this is what makes the place full of tranquillity & a real paradise. It offers all the blues, the ocean is so clear and clean. There is enough beach to experience with soft white sand with fragments of shells.
There is so much that can be done to the resort, it is full of potential…and with time it will get there. it would be nice to have a Restaurant and a few bars, to give guests that added option. I do hope the resort will carry on growing and thriving.
Our time spent on the island, will stay with me forever i left my heart in the Maldives.
We look forward to returning in the distant future, room no 216.

Natural Maldivian Gem..Just go!
This was our 12th trip to the Maldives and our 10th Island, ranging from the luxurious Conrad Rangali, through to basic 3 star resorts and many inbetween, so we have a broad range of experiences of the Maldives. This resort is something special, very natural, not built up with lots of over water structures, and service that rivals any of the luxury resorts.
Arrival
The island is remote, it requires an internal flight and boat transfer, so can take a while to get there, but whilst you wait for your connecting flight you are provided with lounge access which provides drinks and snacks, the long journey is certainly worth it so don't let this put you off!
Entertainment
Resident DJ is amazing, and many of the staff team play as part of the drumming performance which is great to see, there was some additional entertainment over the christmas period, but overall it is the usual relaxed Maldivian style entertainment.
Island
The island has been kept very natural, and is incredibly beautiful, there is lots of beach and not a sandbag in site, no over water structures, which means the island is so natural, the land wildlife is plentiful with many species of crabs and lizards, there are even 2 cats on the island, a new one for us! The lagoon around the island is shallow, you will see the usual baby black tips cruising and the lagoon fish a plenty, however it is worth noting the house reef is accessed by boat, with 2 complimentary snorkelling trips a day, the house reef is beautiful, a thriving healthy reef with many hard corals, we saw large stingrays, turtles, reef sharks, eagle rays, and the usual reef fish on a daily basis. We unfortunately were unable to dive this time as they were in a transition period between providers, but this is now back up and running.
Rooms
Rooms are large and modern, with the traditional open air bathroom, and a very large bath should you like a nice soak, bottled water is provided daily as well as tea and coffee etc. The mini bar items can be purchased at additional cost. The rooms also have a large outdoor area and day bed which overlooks the lagoon or lake. Rooms are serviced twice a day to a high standard
Restaurant
During our visit, the transformation in the restaurant was amazing, our first week although always delicious, we did find the lunch and dinner food a little repetitive, daily beef chicken fish rice vegetables potatoes etc, however, with the arrival of new staff, the restaurant had transformed, and by the time we left there was themed menu's, seafood, cheese, and so much variety, all amazingly delicious. The Christmas Eve Gala dinner was amazing. The whole restaurant team try so hard to please every guest, share your feedback, they love to chat to the guests, and don't be afraid to ask if there is something you would like, they can usually make it happen!
Bar
There are two bars on the island both with a good offering of drinks, and fantastic service, the team take time to get to know you, and your drinks are often read y for you before you even ask! Ko Bar is a must for a beautiful sundowner!
Spa
Spa is peaceful, clean, and very reasonably priced, massages were great! So do treat yourself!
Watersports
There are SUPs and Kayaks available for use during the stay, the SUPS are great and very stable so anyone can give it a go, a new watersports team was being set up during our stay, and the members we met were great.
Staff
This is hands down where this resort shines, it is true that Maldivian hospitality is always of a high standard, but this small team really excel at customer service, during our stay we did encounter a few blips, I got an ear infection, and within a day they had ear drops flown in from Male, I also managed to get a cold and lose my voice, Danu came to the rescue and made me some soothing ginger and honey tea, which was amazing. We were also originally booked at another resort for the second week, but unfortunately with only 6 hours notice, that hotel had to cancel our transfer due to a covid case at their resort, what could have been a very stressful experience was managed very well by Ashel and the Rahaa team who worked hard to rearrange transfers, communicating with the government and the other resort, all whilst reassuring us they would look after us until the issue was resolved, in the end we decided just to stay at Rahaa for the rest of our holiday, we are so glad we did! Every member of the team, restaurant staff, bar staff, housekeeping staff, watersports staff, front desk, grounds staff, are all amazing, I could list them all as it was very easy to chat with the team and learn their names, but I would have to list every member of the team as they are all so amazing. The owner of the island is also visible to guests, not something you see everyday in the Maldives, and is seeking feedback regularly from the guests, a very nice gentleman, who is also spoken of highly by the staff team, this is a very important plus for us, as many Maldives staff are away from home for extended periods, so for us knowing they are happy at work is very important.
Overall, if you are looking for a budget friendly, beautiful, natural resort with amazing staff, just go, you will not be disappointed. We will be back!

Hidden Gem if you don’t mind the distance.
2nd visit to the Maldives and I have to say the staff at Rahaa resort could not have been friendlier or more helpful.
It wasn’t up to full staff levels when I went but more arrived everyday.
Very clean rooms with good Wi-Fi.
Had an amazing relaxing time on this paradise island.
